I think the one thing that gets BTG's goat more than anything, is the fact of businesses moving out of CA.  He can't control that, and can't quite figure out what to do about it; except rail and bellow like a little tyrant.  Punish!!  Don't these vermin read what they write?   :bird:

For someone who has less than 1,000 posts, he sure has been visible the past few years, hasn't he.

In addition, we need to look into penalizing companies leaving the state because they refuse to acquiesce to much-needed reforms, including adherence to Obamacare mandates and the new environmental standards that kick in next spring.

That will do so much for attracting new companies.  Change the name from California to Venezuela.
25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have Obama, no hope and no cash.

2. Maximum income + General worth tax amendment (Income $X, Assets $Y): Requires income amounts, dividend amounts, and a percentage of the amount of all global assets to be repatriated by the state. It's a two-part fee; first all income and dividends are added up to a single figure. If this figure comes out to over $X, then ALL amounts over X are owed the state, MINUS the federal taxes owed. Second, all assets (including the income and dividend return after taxes), such as worth of house, cars, etc., would be assessed; if they are over amount $Y, then the amount owed would be Assets minus $Y.

Higher taxes and limit how much a company can make!  What a winning combination  :lmao:

They speak of "the will of the people" but want to do away with a proposition passed by referendum.

They can't live up to their own ideals for the space of a single internet post.

Remember, anything that happens which goes against their definition of "the will of the people" occurred because of fraud.

Directive 10-289 is coming.

Seen in another thread about bitching about companies losing jobs: http://www.democraticunderground.com/111625411#post7

Quote
Talking is cheap, and Obama MUST come up with something so we can start moving forward. He needs to come up with an order that restricts companies from laying off people. If necessary, we need to ensure that the company management come up with rules to ensure that the employees do not get hosed. We can actually appropriate company assets and copyrights to broker the payments until we can get them retrained for green jobs.

That is only part of it, we should be looking into creating a Secretary of Business to enforce these directives and to enhancing them, ensuring that new development is appropriated by the government and utilized for Green energy production, with profits going to the workers, not the owners or stockholders.

Uncanny. "Secretary of Business" and Directive 10-289's "Unification Board" sound so similar.

Green Jobs = Hard Labor in the Fields.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I really wish more people out there could see that thread.  It's pure tyranny, and people should see just what the democrats are all about these days.  I hesitate to row over, because I'm already sick.

It used to be that the DUmp was a microcosm, now it represents the macrocosm.

Even aside from the obvious Constitutional problem with taxing people for exercising their freedom of movement (Or creating an interstate tariff, a similarly-banned concept), there are several ways for businesses to avoid this, the most obvious being to just dissolve and liquidate your corporation by selling its assets to a separate unaffiliated corporation you have set up in a friendlier state.  If your business is not already a corporation, then incorporating it first would be a wise preliminary step toward this path.

Of course, DAT, and they're too stupid to know this.  This is an insurmountable hurdle for Ban, that he can't control all people and all entities.  It drives him nuts.  I hope it drives him to suicide.

The thread died this morning, with some dude with 18 posts.  He wants everyone's real names.

Identifying who we are rather some secret anonymous group would also give us more credibility. I would be interested in knowing who you are and others who are interested in this project, which is a great idea, but overwhelming. It may be helpful to work offline.
