I would not be too sure of that. Boehner is going to fold like an origami master. Everything 0bama wants he is going to get. The very best that we can hope for is that ALL of the current tax rates will go up to Clinton levels. At least then it would spread the pain out to the ill informed and maybe make 2014 a W for us. However, that will not happen. Taxes will be raised, unemployment will go up, and the spending will increase geometrically.

You know, I've wondered for nearly twelve years now, where the primitives got this rather quaint idea that they "count" with the professional Democrats and liberals.

It's not really surprising to me, it's fairly clear they exercise the same level of analytic thought and keen insight on this matter that they use on everything else.

They sound exactly like the folks on our side who claim the only reason we ever lose an election is because our candidate is too liberal.

To win, both parties fight over that 15% of the electorate in the middle of the road, the numbskulls with no political philosophy.

Meanwhile, the core constituencies in both parties clamor for a strong shift to the left or to the right, or worse, a third party.

The loudest voices in both parties are dedicated to defeat.
