And as the stock market tanked today, my son heard from his superior at the bank (my son is a financial analyst/futurist): "So now the morons realize that the economy tanks in January when all the new taxes roll in!"
If you look at a county by county map of the entire country, you can pick out the majority of the large cities...they are the blue spots. Democrats own those that are living lives outside the bounds of reality, in huge cities constantly bombarded by noise and pollution. That is why I'm convinced that it is actually a disease. Evidently, a very contagious disease. The best cure is to spend a few years in "flyover Jesusland." 
And look at cities run by Dems for decades: New York, Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Sacramento, Fresno, Modesto, Stockton, Flint, Gary, Cleveland, Kansas City, Dayton, etc. and Washington D.C. in residential areas etc. High crime, businesses fleeing, deterioration everywhere.
And yet...the same Dems keep getting re-elected.
