Happy birthday!
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

I had an EXCITING birdday!  I went to my pain dr at 3:45 for my appt and didn't leave until 6:06pm.   :rant:

Then I came home, hubby left to go to Boy Scouts with oldest son and I fed and bathed the little ones, put them in footy pj's and turned out the lights and tv on to get them to sleep.  They fell asleep around 8:30pm and I went to bed  :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:  no gifts.  :(

Sounds about like a regular birthday for me.

I'm thinking of a certain something for your birthday. Something we talked about in PM. Just go do it for yourself.

Good Grief!  If that happened in our house, it would no longer be "our" house, but my soon-to-be ex-wife's.   :o

Such a melancholy story: I hope your marriage is otherwise sound, and your husband just needs some sense slapped into him.  To me it is incomprehensible that a husband does next to nothing for his wife's birthday!

I would be happy to perform that service for you:  O-)  I may be 60+, but at 6' 3" and still in great shape I can handle most of these punks with no problem.
