Election Night 2012 Preparation
« on: November 04, 2012, 08:15:54 PM »
Just a small prep thread. If I am able to attend, (a lot of you know) I will be manning my station. All secretive, and stuff. I will also be posting oodles of things from Twitter. As I'm sure Bally will be doing. I just wanted to know if anyone else was delving into any of the more interesting frivolity. As it comes down to it, I'm starting to get "all of a dither." I'm just hoping everything pans out accordingly so I can be here at my place at my battlestation. Observing, and reporting on everything.  :yahoo:

We'll see how it evolves.

I think it would be a good idea to have a live thread in the DUmpster beginning late Monday night, "DU reaction to the elections," and if Ballygrl's willing to twitter it, it'd be all good.  If she's not, we need a volunteer who's going to be here to baby-sit it.

There'll be a live election thread in the Election 2012 forum, but as KyleRicky's apparently going to be gone, we need a volunteer for that, again, someone who's going to be around.

I'll do a live election thread in the Rants and Raves forum, which is a closed forum, in case any members have any opinions or feelings they want to air, but don't want the public to see.

That makes three live threads for Tuesday night.

I will be at the W560 compound right after work, with either Fox News or The Blaze on.

I told Thing 1 and Thing 2 they could stay up a little later that night. For every state Romney wins, they plan on shouting "USA! USA!"

Lord, I hope they are hoarse by the end of the night.  :-)
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

There is going to be a pounding on Tuesday night. My previous predictions may be on the low side. Romney is going t have some very big coattails in the new battleground states. I am moving my55/45 to 56/44. Keeping the republicans at a +17 in the HOR and of course a Romney/Ryan at 356/184, 55/44. My friends America is going to be on the upswing, the world will follow, and leftism will die out for another 30 years.

PS Remember to make fun of leftists whenever possible. they deserve it and t will save a puppy if you do.

If you want to follow all three threads, there's an easy way.

Stay on the forum page, and about three-quarters of the way down, there's "five most recent posts."

If you click on a post, you get right to that most-recent post, rather than the beginning of the thread.

You can follow the action in all three forums, on all three threads, this way; a piece of cake.

This is why I suggest members always use the forum page, rather than--damn it--going directly to the DUmpster, ignoring all else.  There's a lot of stuff here, and if one sees the five most-recent posts, it helps.

For those who can't see it, the "five most recent posts" are in the last solid-blue line on the forum page, The Conservative Cave© - A Conservative Political Forum - Info Center.

If one doesn't see anything there, there's a little box way over on the right-hand side of the same line, probably with a "+" in it.  Click on it to see what's underneath, and then leave it be.

I dunno why people don't use the "five most recent posts"--as a moderator obligated to read everything on conservativecave no matter which forum or which thread, I find it the quickest and easiest way to track the action.

Im going to skip the live threads for the most part and spend my time on twitter trolling the millions of Obama supporters who cant seem to spell the #forward hashtag, they spell it "#foward" and nearly all the profile pics are black or a young female.

Michelle Malkin's "Twitchy" has been all over that.

I hope the DUmmies have laid in a good supply of razor blades, rope for nooses, and sleeping pills to be taken with straight whiskey in order to dull the pain that much quicker.
