I am going to New Jersey to help in the relief effort. Please pray ...

On Tuesday I will be heading to new Jersey to help in the relief effort for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Please pray for me, the helpers, and especially the victims. I pray that they find comfort in this time of devastation...

Oh that's so nice, everyone around here is basically stuck here with the gas shortage, some stations are limiting it to $20 per person. I was hoping to go down and help my family but there's no way in or out of their town yet, and we'd be running the car on fumes to get down there.

The trip was put off till next week because of the storm coming in. The Red Cross called our church and told us to stay home. So we are going to go down next week instead. I am heartbroken. I really want to help these people .. :(

I'm sure they are still going to need a lot of help after the storm passes.  Maybe even more so.

Yes, I do have Pay Pal, and thank you for the offer, my friend. A bunch of people in the church give a gas offering on Sunday. So we have more than we need. But, please, keep praying for the helpers and especially the victims of this devastating event. There are still millions of people suffering from it.

Yeah, LBI is like any other beach front town. But there is also a lot of permanent residents there who were effected. Those are the ones we were helping. The people who have vacation homes are being forwarded to their insurance company for the time being ...
