Why Should Fox "New" be allowed to "call" the Presidential race?

They are truly NOT a real news organization. Period. But they're allowed to "call" the election races? Why not let the 700 Club call them, too?

I saw an article on when they would call the races, and I thought.. wtf? Why does the rest of the media give them any credence? Especially in LIGHT of the Florida 2000 theft where Bush's COUSIN called Florida for Bush, THEN they successfully sued in the Supreme Court based on "equal protection" because Bush believed that he was the President (because of Fox's call,) and it would harm him if they took it away.

So why does Fox get a seat at this game???

Liberals -->  :panic: :panic: :panic:
Its just ONE single station. Geeze louise, you guys simply cannot tolerate opposition speech.
For people who live in a free society, liberals are the least tolerant people I know.
If one station so bothers you...don't watch it. Just how much energy does it take to click a remote?
This is pathetic.

Yeah, that should embarse the DUmmies.

Hey Dummies, believe it or not Fox News is not an official organ of Barry big ears government.

I know it might feel like it, trust me it ain't.

No..really...trust me, I know you think it is but it ain't.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the only reason they are called authoritative is because they are always right.

4. Uhh, you do know that the media calling a race has absolutely zero legal authority, right?

It's not something you need permission to do, and it's not something that carries the least bit of weight. Thinking otherwise about either of those is exceedingly silly.

This DUmmy is making sense--as I'm sure the MIRT squad has noticed too.

Who "allows" FOX News to do anything?   FOX News does not require anyone's permission for any reason at any time.  What a stupid DUmbass question.

But, since we are on the subject:  Why does FOX News allow any of the lesser news outlets (which is all the rest) to "call" anything.  If any news organization is the boss, it's FOX News.  By leaps and bounds!

The news doesn't "call". elections, they report on them.
On the other hand, if they called you a bottom-feeding scum-sucker, I'd be inclined to believe that.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

Shut up stupid, I say you are too stupid to vote.  Does that mean you don't have the right?  Unfortunately no, but seriously, you shouldn't.

Oh jeez Dummie. They can call the election anytime and anyway they want... just like any other organization like AP, CBS, NBC, etc. I do remember Dan Rather calling Florida for Gore at about 7:30pm EST. Turns out he was wrong. So by your illogical reasoning then CBS should be disallowed to call elections?

And what is this "Bush believed" bullshit? Man that was 12 freaking years ago!!!! Are you still that butthurt over ancient history?

Stupid dummie. Really stupid dummie. Do you even know you are that stupid?

Funny thing here dummie... the local communist rag, the Charleston Gazette, actually had an editorial complaining about the voting machines. Well dummie, those machines got put into place because apparently the dumbasses down in Florida COULDN"T FREAKING PUNCH A HOLE IN A DAMNED PIECE OF FREAKING PAPER!!!!!

Liberal desperation. You see your defeat. You got your wet dream, a majority in the federal government, promptly rammed your agenda thru and got wasted in 2010.

You cannot accept reality. You remind of a lib named 123 in the comment sections of the Chas Gazette, when confronted with the fact that most polls show libs at a 20 percent minority, spinned and spunned to make it that people answering the poll were too stupid to understand the questions. So who is really stupid here dummie?

Hint: It's you.

Is the OP DUmmie actually suggesting a news outfit decides the election?  He's too stupid to vote, then.  Other DUmmies point it out to him, and he's so embarrassed he didn't revisit his own thread.
