Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said he will not cooperate with Mitt Romney if he wins the presidency, National Journal reports.

It's "his latest and perhaps final shot at a candidate who aides say Reid personally disdains."

Said Reid: "Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable. In fact, Mitt Romney's Tea Party agenda has already been rejected in the Senate."

Reid hasn't exactly been "working with" 0bama, either. When was the last time the Senate passed a budget again?

That's a really odd statement to be saying this close to the election.  It doesn't really exude confidence.  People who are sure things are going to be in their favor don't really make statements about what would happen if they don't win.

It's the union people that get him re-elected.  We need to get those people to see the light (fat chance...) in order to permanently get him out of Washington.

The least surprising part of that article was that Sen. Reid wouldn't work with the Republicans. What else is new? He, and Nancy Pelosi, have sacrificed many of their own party in traditionally Republican areas of the country in order to steamroll us with a socialist agenda. The number of blue dogs that are gone is endless, all because it has become poison to be a Democrat in part thanks to Harry. His party is holding the bucket for four years ( with two in a super majority) of the most disastrous performance ever acted out by an American government. I'll be EXTREMELY surprised if some high ranking Democrats don't sigh a big relief when that administration is gone since they can finally drop the gun they've been holding to their careers and move away from that disgrace. Nevada needs a John Thune, a real dragon slayer, to get rid of Reid once and far all. Just like how we pulled off the impossible by putting Daschle in the bin of political hasbeens. Anybody know off hand who in Nevada is going to be the one to run against Reid?

Sharron Angle, the Tea Party candidate, lost aginst Reid in 2010 due to casino worker unions endorsement and support. He's not on the docket again until Romney/Ryan's reelection in 2016

Thought just occurred to me: We all know that Obamacare has THOUSANDS of instances of "The Secretary shall determine...". What's to stop Mitt's Sec of HHS from just determining that all those instances are in our favor, and writing the regs that way?

How many other bills over the past 4 years were written that way? O and the Dems didn't think far enough ahead to where our unelected bureaucrats would be able to dismantle their work.
