DUmmy celebrates Hurricane Sandy

Nothing like a good, massively-destructive, killer storm to help get your guy back in office.

The jobs number next month will be so excellent.

Out of the horror of Sandy will be more jobs than
you can shake a stick at with all of the re-building and repair going on. Plumbers, electricians, every type of work imaginable will be happening. This is the one good thing that has come out of this nightmare.

Talk about a "shovel ready" project. I hope some good will come of this so that the people affected especially will have the opportunity to work and get back on their feet.

God they're stupid.  This does NOT stimulate the economy.

Money that will be used to pay insurance deductibles will not be spent on Christmas presents or turkey dinners.

Money spent to move into rented space while your home is repaired will not be spent on new cars or a new rifle.

Money spent to rebuild what you had is not being being used for charity or that new lap top you were looking at.

This list could be 10 miles long and the DUmmies would still not understand.

So Sandy created lots of jobs?  How about all the ones it destroyed?  I'm thinking it well be a negative net when it's all tallied up.

Another leftist idiot (BIRM) that believe in the broken window fallacy. Color me shocked.

Oh and I am sure that the poor victims that have lost everything will feel better. If only Sandy could have happened sooner to help Obama, economic and logistics super genius, out sooner. That would have made all of the victims of Sandy feel even better.

So global warming is a good thing now that we know it creates jobs, right primitives?

What do you expect?  These are the people that bought the nonsense that Frederic Bastiat showed to be nonsense.  This is the whole breaking glass in windows to stimulate the economy analogy repeated verbatim, not that the DUmmies ever read any economic text.

I guess they think the bad guy in The Fifth Element was correct:

The debt load just keeps getting bigger. Ask Japan how much they think Tsunamis have helped their economy.

Right.  Ask the New Yorkers how long it took to replace the twin towers and how many jobs were lost there.

Taking the tower is still not completed and is a union job who knows? The North and South Towers will built in 7+/- years (66-73). It's been 11 years and not a single tower is completed.

FORWARD KOMRADES!!! A GLORIOUS future awaits, glorious!!

Ah, yes, the Fallacy of the Broken Window in full effect.

Plus for added bonus consequences, how much longer and more costly will rebuilding be since they'll only be able to get union labor, and will turn away non-union help?
