Panama in the 50's

Yes I know most of you are young  and have not experienced the incredable world out side the USA.

This was brought to mind when I read a story on what and who could get kicked off airplanes.

Darn when Dad was stationed in the Canal Zone for some reason Mom decided to go into the out side to shop that meant we had to board a what i believe was called a Chiva..   Empty and standing as she and a few friends climbed aboard.  Along the way the bus stopped to pick up people with their animals for market,, Chickens and goats all stashed into the back, some of the animals got loose and wandered about the bus.   Mother tells me the driver was to her and  and her friends as he drove so close to drop off points, scaring the Jesus out of them,  No one else seemed concerned.

This was as she tells me a 3 hour drive with chickens and goats running about,  looking our the windows at the drop offs was not pleasant either.

So with her experience on a Chiva is she to complain about the clothing or lack of it , a baby with an ear ache, or someone using a barf bag, get real here, at least the flyer's did not have to put up with chickens landing on their heads or a goat trying to eat their jacket.

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

There are active duty and former military on this board.  How many of us do you think have never been out of the US?

Say here goats are very usefull-----More then the Libs.   What can one do with a goat ???

One can feed children on their milk, they eat all the crap in the back yard so you do not have to mow.

Some goats are shaved for their hair to be spun into yarn to make wonderful clothing.

Goats can be eaten to feed family's and also  their skulls are painted up to be sold as souvenirs at trade shows.

Some goats make great family guards. will butt a stranger of the property,    then if you get a billy goat those bastards smell to high heavens and will slime the intire property.  If you know male goats you know what I am talking about .

Had one get loose from a neighbor a good 5 miles away, had 2 Nubian goats females 3 times his size in heat, they kept head butting each other to send out the call, ----here we are come and get us.

Poor little goat not much bigger then a big dog had his problems.   No way could he mount a big goat he tried and bless his heart but this was a no go.

Mean little shit, the only way I could get out to my car was to throw M&M peanuts for him to chase. Finally the owner came and brought him home but you do know few unless starving will eat a male goat.

BTW there are Carlose many that never left the land of good and plenty, have no idea what this Obama wants to drag down to.

The civilians that never get to see what the miltary does have no idea what is out there.  As nor do I really. I hear the storys of the hell holes in countrys that sell their children into the sex trade, what we conncered a civilisied country and  find we our own people visiting that just go allong with the customs and life style.

Obama wants to make America equal to the rest of the world.   This means we have to live as they do.

I was speaking on the benifit of the goats in all cultures, now you wish me to shut up about  other cultures that live around us, Hell we do not have to go off shore to see this, the neighbor next door may be ordering goat eyes for a celerbration.
