"'Twas the night after the election" (an homage to friends at MSNBC)

'Twas the night after the election and all through the land
The Democrats partied like only they can
While Republicans huddled, scared under their bed
Their dreams of a comeback now deader than dead!

My partner had settled to sleep for the night
And was waiting for me to turn out the damn light....
When out from our den there arose such a clatter
that I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter!

Straight to the sofa I tore on the run,
just as the next talk show had barely begun.
The panel that evening was loud and outspoken
And I feared that some horrible scandal had broken!

When what to my drowsy old eyes should appear
But an MSNBC commentator knocking back a cold beer!
With a chill up his leg, he did a quick jig
So I knew that Chris Matthews must be hosting the gig!

"Now Jansing, now Tamron, now Big Ed and Larry!
On Sharpton, Karnacki and Ms. Harris-Perry!

The pundits were gathered round one tiny table
Each giving opinions as best they were able
All talking at once, everyone was excited
The Electoral College left all quite delighted!

Then Rachel made cocktails like only she can
As 'Hot Thomas" Roberts showed his 'honeymoon tan'
S.E. Cupp served the party, everyone on the set
It was her job that evening, 'cause she lost the bet!

Next our favorite Britster, namely Martin Bashir
Led all of his colleagues in an old English cheer (HUZZAH!)
As Alex and Toure joined Chris Hayes and Ms Ball
in toasting Mitt Romney's precipitous fall!

And I heard them exclaim, as they wrapped up the show...
"Is this shit really over, and can we really go?"

The MSNBC worshipping starts. They are such children  :lmao:

Notice he said 'My partner had settled to sleep for the night' - The dude who wrote this is a faggot...

The responses are the normal 'I love it', 'you are great', and 'Bravo' type ass kissing they do.

"partner" :whatever:

Another perfectly good word ruined by liberalism.

Well, one has to admit it's better poetry than what the CalPig primitive ejects out.

And was waiting for me to slide it in tight....

Fixed!

And vomit-worthy

Coulda lived without that one....

"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

10,000 monkeys flinging poo at 10,000 typewriters could turn out better poetry than that which is voided from the depths of CalPig, so that isn't saying much, Coach. :puke:
