I agree but perhaps not bullets, That man rescued from an abandoned building then charged with looting for example, story is odd, these buildings had been abandoned years ago, anything left in them has been long gone. What was there left to loot ???
This perhaps street person may have taken shelter from the storm in an empty building and the roof fell in. He was not found in any kind of business or had nothing on him that was out of place for the time, no TV's or Computers.
Well perhaps the police did him a favor 3 hots and a cot for a few weeks. Clean clothes and a couple showers and toilet paper to wipe his butt.

Up here we have a tradition that may sound odd, when a funeral is held the deceased home has some one to guard the possessions of the deceased. All to often to attend a funeral and leave the home empty, is an invite to neighbors or even relatives to take sovereign's or to take what they believe they are now entitled to, That's G-G grandmas tea cup, I need this to pass to my children ETC. I learned this from the Polish Community. Smart people.
