There is an ad that I consider to be a threat by the 1% which has been running here.

It is put on by a group called "Restore America's Future." Can't locate any info about them. Part of dark money? Anyway it starts out with ominous music and some mumbo-jumbo about the economy being flatlined. It ends with this stuff that implies--no, says--elect the President and the economy will be dead for the next four years. A threat to continue active obstruction and premediated killing of the economy? That is the feeling of it. Could be wrong but I just find it jarring.

Let me guess: you want to seize their assets and put them on trial just to be safe.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Of course.

The skidmarked underwear primitive, for an older disconsolate farmwife from eastern Iowa, can be pretty radical at times.

There was one time--this was about 2006, early in the year--a Republican candidate for Congress appeared at a Unitarian "church" in Virginia, and had to be escorted out for his own safety, as some crazed Democrats were trying to do him bodily harm.

The skidmarked underwear primitive applauded the brown-shirts, and said she hoped to see more of this sort of thing.

I was startled, given her age; she's decades older than young revolutionaries.

Oh, I can assure you of that, and it has nothing to do with the Republican Party or Congress.  There's a minimum of 100 million plus of us who know Dear Leader's policies won't work and will be very stingy with how we spend and how we invest.  You keep forgetting, we have more money and can ride it out.  You can't.

What?  A little reality scaring them?

If Obama gets re-elected, just watch another recession slap them upside the head :hammer:.

Leftists ALWAYS blame others for the failings of their ideology and their leaders.

Sorry you sad piece of worthless shit, it IS 0bama that is killing the economy.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
