Why do they have Braille numbers at drive-up ATM machines?

Ask Al Gore. He's the smart one now that Ted is dead.

Gay Prius owners is redundant.

I was going to make a smartass comment - 'no, I'm not referring to the owners, but the gay cars themselves' - then I realized that the comment would be just as redundant.

-If the Kia Soul can have commercials with 'dancing hamsters' , I can't see a reason why Toyota can't make a competing commercial starring a Prius jam-packed with dancing gerbils.

Kinda why my comments are generally short.

Hey!  My parents own one!  (I did tell my dad that he needed a right-wing sticker on it, and he said no, because he didn't want it keyed.)  They're about as red voting as one can get.

I doubt it. I think he will go on a 70 day whirlwind tour of the world with his family... on the taxpayer dime.

I agree.  Nothing will pass Congress anyway, anything done by executive order would be zapped on Day 1 (along will all the other BS he's already done).

Barqui is going to job search at the UN, while the moocher picks out IKEA for their Pritzker financed (read: bought and paid for) .005% mansion getaway in the Islands.  Meanwhile there will be riots (to varying degrees) in the cities and Black on white violent crime will soar.

President Romney is going to have his hands full for four ugly years.

I still see signs and stickers for Obama, since I live in Massachusetts -

- HOWEVER -

Their numbers are far smaller than 2008, and they only seem to be carried about by limited protected groups, primarily by Prius owners, gay people, and gay Prius owners.

The entire stretch of Route 9 is covered with Brown signs, which I thought was genius of him.   Huge standouts today in MA for Brown also.

I live in a conservative/independent area of the state, so very few Obama signs if any at all.

I have said that for decades, and was obnoxiously hammered by some folks here about that (they are still on ignore) during the primaries.

Moderates decide elections, so candidates better consider them when they stump.   It is really that simple.  The messiah ran home to his base when he was slaughtered in the first debate which will translate to epic fail.

That won't stop him from issuing executive orders, and having his cronies at various agencies doing their damnedest to cripple the US.

You may be correct thundley. I'm thinking though that the lesser rats will be deserting the obumbles ship faster than a sailor can get his pants off in a whore house after 6 months at sea.

Just my 2 cents.

Besides... it don't really matter about the Exec Ords. Romney will just revoke them. Sadly that is pretty much the way things go now when a pres is on the way out. Clinton was the one that started it.

IMHO, Sandy will hurt 0bama very badly. Every republican I know will crawl over broken glass to get rid of 0bama. It is not the other way for 0bama. Turnout in very blue states of NY, NJ, CN, PA, and MA will be huge in the Rs favor. Brown will keep Vastteddy's seat. McMahon will win in Connecticut. Tom Smith takes Pennsylvania, Tom Kaine will lose in Virgina. Thompson takes Wisconsin. Mandel beats brown in Michigan. Finally Connie Mack takes Florida. All states go to Romney. Don't be too surprised if that Akin fellow wins too.

2010 HAPPENED. Obama is even less popular.

Perhaps a couple of decades ago. The Poser and actual moderates are of such small numbers to be almost insignificant as far as turning an election one way or the other. The election of 2000 being the exception not the rule. For better or worse the country is rather polarized when it comes to political philosophy.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

You bring up a good point. What are the early voting breakdowns thus far in the states that Sandy hit? If they lean R, would it be enough to hold off the D's who will vote on Tuesday? How many WILL vote on Tuesday, with all the obvious distraction of digging out and the reassuring thought that O will win regardless?

I don't think it will be all that close, just a hunch.  At least before the Democrats start the inevitable recounts that magically increase only their net vote, and before a bunch of previously-unrecorded ballot boxes are 'Found' in the car trunks of various Democrat poll workers, but they'll still lose.

The MSM is dealing in the world they wish existed, not reality, and selling us moon shine and rainbows about their Chosen One.  The pollsters are basing their turnout models on 2008.  I just think the public is being widely deceived about the true prospects of the Obamites.

I don't think many will get out. Those that do will be thse who don't have to travel far.

There's more BGV on the right side. And, many people who have cleaned up from Sandy (in my opinion) will be disgruntled with how things were handled. They will probably equate that with the incumbents.

Worse yet, Gloomberg had those generators out for the marathon. Gloomberg endorsed Zero. There may be thinking then that the two are the same.
