Yeah, stopped by there today. Layout seems a little clunky. I think they could prolly use a better artist for their site layout but it works. :)

Cool. Glad it has a presence. I'm sure it will continue to evolve. I continue to remain cautious on 'organized' tea party groups, because I love the spontaneous grass roots beginnings. Lets face it...I'm terrified that some political opportunist will high jack it and then sink it through a scandal or two. I've already met one or two people embedded in politics that were 'suddenly' tea party leaders and I knew they came in from left field looking for an opportunity for relevance. I don't mean to tear down since I know that those are truths in any political environment, but I get real tired of lousy leaders trying to ruin a good thing. Just keeping the fire going in the once 'silent majority' is really important to beat back the socialist barbarians back from our gates.

I remember a Lincoln day dinner I attended as a kid. Half the table had a very nice older couple enjoying the evening. The other half had one lady in particular I remember. She was ALL business. She ate and muttered to someone next to her about how she got appointed to this committee or that committee. She struck me as a career politician that wasn't interested in conservative philosophy or protecting peoples rights in the slightest. Took me a couple of years for me to bounce back and put it in perspective. I started the pledge of allegiance for the audience that night. Its easy for a bad leader to sour people on the party as a whole which is why its important to take the utmost care in selecting our leaders. I'd be way looser on my demand for conservative obedience in politics if I knew that person had integrity, however that isn't often possible. Anyway, the media makes it hard to trust politicians at large even if there is a decent one here or there. End of point.

Tea party news network refuses to endorse Romney for president. Congrats to them for making themselves irrelevant on their 2nd day in operation.

Maybe they want to see if all that barking has some bite. Politicians are famous for not delivering on their promises. Plus, I do not see Romney as the second coming. I am going to vote for him but if Obamacare is not repealed, taxes are not lowered, social engineering is not put on the back burner, etc, I am going to be pissed, and may be ready to support a Tea Party/real conservative candidate the next time around.

Exactly my point though even if you dont think Romney is the best possible person, its easy to support/endorse/vote for him over Obama this election. Just looking at the comments on the TPNN and twitchy site about it nearly all of them are very scathing from tea party members on the TPNN not endorsing Romney.
