Mostly science based, peace-oriented, fact-oriented, high information, MSNBC (or Link) watching, (mostly) urban/suburban.

Watching the storm reports, it struck me tonight for the 4,837th time that when this election is over, we'll still have two Americas.

Those ****ing people are not going to go away... ever. They have been emboldened by creatures - far, far to the right of Rmoney - to say the most outlandish things and feel that they are not only correct, but superior.

We need a divorce. Time to sit down with the lawyers, divide up the property and assets, and start new lives free of each other.

This is a sick marriage... let's end it now.

The libs seem to always have this strange notion that if they win the election then everyone should just roll over and do what they want, but if conservatives win the election they should give "truth to power."  Again, they show their hypocracy.

What this primitive has come to realize is that if Dear Leader wins, the bloom is off the rose, fewer citizens like what he's doing now as they did in 2008, and the next 4 years are going to be one giant stalemate with things getting worse and worse (mainly for them because none of them are prepared, whereas we are).  We have the power and the knowledge to ride it out and they don't.

They keep claiming we're the ones who dream of getting rich, but truth is they do.  Problem is they want it handed to them.  If Dear Leader wins, it's my bet that the overwhelming conversation coming from the primitives is how bad things are for them economically.  It's a given they'll blame Republicans for it, but they will have voted for the very prez that is putting and keeping them in the poor house.  Talk about voting against your own best interests.

I think a divorce is a great idea.  So how should we split up the assets?

They hate the military, so we'll take it.
They hate wall street, so we'll take that too.
They hate fossil fuels, so we'll take those.
They hate the fly over states, so we'll take those.
They hate Christians, so we'll take that and all the churches.
They hate guns, we'll take all those.

Sounds fair to me

One thing that has struck me with these liberals...they are so hateful.
I don't hate them. I don't view them as enemies. My enemies are the people that would attack America. Not a stupid Liberal.
I may hate what they say, but I will defend their right to say it. However mind boggling it may be. Wow.
They are our fellow americans and it makes me extremely sad to know that they are so ignorant of what they wish for.
They wish for their freedoms taken away. They scream that the government can't tell a woman what to do with her body yet they ask the government to pay for the contraception.
They scream for religious tolerance but mock Christians and abandon the Jewish people in their hatred of Israel.
They want to strip our country of her defenses? To make her vulnerable to attack? They want to exploit our resources by being easy on illegal immigration???
They fight for a murderer being sentenced to death, but they will kill unborn American citizens who have done no crime?
I'm so glad I am not them. Even if my country were to become the absolute Hell hole they wish for, at least I would know what was wrong.

If you read enough DU, you'll find those two things aren't mutually exclusive.  None of them have the actual guts to commit violence, but they are a fertile ground for people who would be dupes or even willing tools of our active enemies.
