I'm sorry...I cannot tolerate Republicans anymore. I've tried. God knows I've tried. I've tried to understand them...and that while I disagree with their policies, they are after all no less American than I am with the same rights to express their beliefs as I do. But what is currently going on in this campaign is beyond the pale. It is disgusting and is as far from being American as anyone can get.

Let's be honest...it is overt RACISM. They don't even try to hide it anymore. They have NO SHAME.

No other President has had to deal with such hatred and racism as has our current President. We are all well aware of the dog whistles that have been blaring in our ears for months now.

He is not an American...He doesn't understand our country (our economics)...he is "monkeying around"...shucking and jiving...his birth certificate and school transcripts...he's a Socialist/Communist/Muslim...traitor...un-American...etc, etc.

What is wrong with these people?!

And don't give me this "low information" crap. There is no excuse.

And where is Romney expressing regret and shame for those who would express such overt racism? Nowhere to be found on the issue. No interviews...nothing. His silence speaks louder than anything he could say.

I've had it with the Repiblican Party and for ANYONE who would support their platform. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for supporting or tolerating the hate and racism that is now so obvious.

From now on, anyone who expresses their support for the Republican Party will be seen for what they are...as the racist disgusting pigs that they are.

My generalization that ALL Repubicans are as I have described not withstanding...

If you vote Republican, I would hope that you would educate yourself on your party's position and method. As I stated, this so-called "low information" crap is just that...CRAP. It is no longer acceptable as an excuse for supporting racism.

If I were to learn that my party engaged in such disgusting methods, I would immediately stop at nothing to expose the unacceptability of its existence.

For those in the Republican Party who conveniently ignore the racism are not only irresponsible party members, but they are doing a disservice to all that is treasured by our society.

So, no...not all in the Republican Party are racist. However, associating with those who are and then tolerate it from those assigned to speak for their party, is unacceptable.

10. It's not just the overt racism that bothers me with Republicans

but their willingness to uninformed and believe lies. They create their own reality where conjecture becomes fact and in essence, in their worlds, history is different. There is forever going to be section of the Republican party that believe Pres. Obama was born in Kenya. There is always going to be a section that believes he's a Muslim. I know this comes back to racism with President Obama but it still chaps my ass that they allow themselves to be "educated" by Fox noise while voting to damage actual education in schools.

The worst part is, these people think they are much more intelligent than anyone else on the planet, yet they are the ones taken in so easily by lies. All one has to do to fool them is say something bad about the repukes and they run with it as truth even when it is debunked, then they claim fake but accurate. Just like all the made up quotes they said came from Rush, when it was proven he never said a single one of them their excuse was, he may not have said it, but that is what he believes.

Maybe if they actually bothered to listen to what conservatives have to say it might sink in that we are not how we are portrayed, they may never agree with our positions, but they could at least educate themselves on our beliefs so when they try to counter them they don't need to make up this crap.

My liberal cousin (college educated DUmbass) says this ALL THE F'N TIME!!!!!!! :argh:  He HAD countless posts to our Congressman on Facebook, disagreeing with the Congressman's position, and he'd start every F'N one of them, "Congressman, EDUCATE YOURSELF....  Most of this has to do with cousin being a HUGH glowbull warming advocate, and supporter of "cap and trade", which the former Congressman (a dim) also supported and was SOUNDLY defeated over in 2010.  

Yet when I showed him the entire scenario that brought on the "financial crisis" of 2008, he replied with "It's All Bush's Faulttm"!

The reason I said he HAD countless posts on Facebook is because his account was deleted a couple of months ago.  My guess is because his bosses (wink wink) may have found out about the nature of his comments.   :-)

I take it he's a fairly recent college grad.  Typical.  Yeah, I loooove the "educate yourself" line.  It ensures that that which directly precedes it, is utter crap.

DUmmy WiffenPoof doesn't understand the difference between dog whistles and overt racism.  If I understand the dog whistle concept correctly, the message has plausible deniability of racism--for both the speaker and the audience.

In overt racism, on the other hand, there is no effort to hide or deny the racism.  Many examples of overt racism can be found on democrat underground threads about Clarence Thomas or Condoleezza Rice.  Ugly, hateful examples that I won't bring over.  There's no need to bring them over since they are by definition overt, therefore you all know what I'm referring to.

Exactly.  Race is the ONLY thing they have, and the Dims are still the party of KKK.  Most of their people are safely on the Plantation, except for the few they've shoved into place as window decoration.  If Obama were Republican, the fact that he was raised by his white grandparents would be shouted endlessly.  If he were Republican, they would be infuriated by the fact that he hasn't released 90% of his records.  If he were Republican, they'd be calling him house ****** and Uncle Tom daily.  Racism thrives on the left.

How nice it must be for Obama to use the color of his skin to shield himself from his gross incompetence and failures of his administration.   Those who have experienced real racism and discrimination will never stop throwing up.
