Boy Scout leader at WalMart today
I was picking up a cake today for my daughter. I noticed the boy scouts selling krispy kreme doughnuts at the door. I love krispy kreme, but refuse to contribute to the boy scouts because of their anti-gay policy. I was in a hurry, so I kinda went in with a couple of other people hiding from the scouts so they wouldn't ask me to buy any.

On my way out I purposely went out the "in" door because there was just the leader there and not 5 boys waiting to attack you as you leave. I was hoping to get a clean getaway, but of course not. I get out the door and the leader says to me "would you like to buy some doughnuts to help the boy scouts." Here I am already running late and not wanting to deal with this now, but I refuse to just say nothing. So as calmly as I can I answer, "No, I'm sorry, but I refuse to contribute to any organization that discriminates." As I am trying to walk past him, he calls me a moron. Again, I'm running late and need to go, but I am one of those ladies that can't hold my tongue to some idiot man. I then say to him, "You're setting a good example for your son." He tells me to go away, that I am just a moron. I then say to him, "Do you not discriminate in the boy scouts?" He says we don't discriminate against normal people. I yell, "Normal people? Gays are not normal people now?" He walks to the other side telling me to move it on.

I so wanted to punch the guy (I wouldn't, but wanted to). If I wasn't already late I probably would have stayed around to harass him and hopefully lose a few sales for him.

For a change, I don't think this is a bouncy. He/she did not convert anyone, he/she did not get deafening applause from onlookers. No, he/she made a complete, total ass of themself, and they just had to brag about it.

Well, DUmmie wouldn't like my son then. He completed his ordeal and got his Vigil Award in the Order of the Arrow this past weekend. Can't spell or say his Indian name but it means "Quiet One".

They gave him an engraved, leather bound bible that I think is extremely nice. If he's smart(?), he'll keep, use and treasure it for life.

No they aren't. Just because you dickheads decided to pressure the APA in the early 80s to take homosexuality out of the DSM does not make gay people anymore normal. What a bunch of crap, my DIL is diabetic and has to walk past all kinds of Scouting sales and sales to benefit the schools etc.

She cannot eat the cookies or cakes or donuts sold there but she will stop an buy something and then later give it away to a neighbor or friend, take to work or give it to my son to take to work. She is a Class act, my son has no idea how lucky he was to have found her.

Follow this woman to the Mall. she finds a shirt she wants priced at $50.00 and sees a Union made label ------Across from the store is another store with the identical shirt with a made in China at $19.00. Will she buy 2 of the China made shirts or buy the Union made ??? Strange how when it comes to our pocket book all loyalty flys out the window.
