Our memories of election night may end up being the night the election didn't happen.
I am guessing if Sandy does as much damage as they are expecting they will postpone the election.

I wouldn't put it past Barack Milhous to try this, and it needs opposed.

In the course of the history of the United States, there's been many times the weather's proven life-threatening.

That never postponed the elections.

But I wouldn't put it past Barack Milhous to try.

I would personally love to post a number of a moving company to move the Obama's out of the WH in January plus armed guards to make sure they don't loot the place before they go

Well, I don't have MS paint. I'll see if I can get it tomorrow. Last day off, so I can do that, and a few other secretive Election Preperation tasks.

What browser do you use?
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Seriously?  Run > mspaint

That doesn't work for you?  It's under Accessories on the Program menu.  You must have some super-ghetto version of Windows.  Are you running Windows ME?

I'm really not sure what my fondest memory will be yet.  What will all of you be doing?  I can't bring myself to watch MSNBC.  I'll be logged in here, reading DU posts and giggling.  I can't stay up too late (after midnight...) because I have to work the next day.  I will stay up past midnight for some good drama though... ;)

We were talking with our neighbor on Sunday about the riot threats and he said he has guns too.  So there are a few of us armed on our street if anyone happens to make it this far out.  I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I'm not sure yet.  I know I'll be really nervous, because I'm not as positve about this election turnout as a lot of other people seem to be.  I know I won't be able to watch it on television either.  Maybe I'll just listen to it on the radio, like I did with the debates.

Being able to replace the memory of 08' with something far better. When Romney wins it will be short lived I realize since their is SO much to do to get back on track. I'm going to be watching the senate results come in and I'm hoping I'll be all around happy and not slightly. Anyway...I'll probably get drunk to celebrate. If we lose then I'll get drunk.

I can't watch MSLSD.  I get physically ill.  Even the schadenfreude isn't worth the eyerolling migraine I would get.  Besides.....

the descriptions are even better! :-)

Same here. BUT, just so ya know. The good stuff always ends up on You Tube in brief manageable clips of just a few minutes. I will keep an eye out for MSNBC heads asploding, and I will link them for you.

Forget Schadenfreude....I want a full-blown Obama Roman holiday via split screen so we can watch Zero in the Fortress of Socialismtude as he cringes, whines, and cries with every state that goes against him.

For the last week or so, the island has been mighy boring.
Same old themes, same old whines.
Lately, I've noticed a quiver in the Silly Meter.
Poo being flung, primitives scrambling to out-stupid each other.
Tomorrow will be a day the needle makes a big jump.
Tuesday, it'll be slammed against the peg.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

What this country needs is a good five-cent cigar.
There are probably some here who have never heard that maxim.

Which reminds me.
In elementary school every student used to keep supplies like crayons, scissors, paste, etc., in a cigar box, secured with a big rubber band.

I wonder how many of today's sudents have ever seen a cigar box. And a pair of scissors would probably land them in "alternative school".
