Wow what a massive(in size) storm. Stronger outer bands are only about 100 miles east of here but we are still getting doused from the from and some of the moisture with this thing. I'm in central oh and we are even anticipating sustained of about 30 mph here with gusts over 60 mph at time. Already here actually. Those are power losers in this area and it doesn't have to go on long to do it. Ugh. Be safe east coast friends. Hopefully it starts getting sucked back out to sea sooner then expected.
Not going to get sucked back out to sea.
It has now been changed from a hurricane, it is now a "Super Storm". It's a combo of a hurricane, artic cold fronts, and general all around mess.
It actually didn't make landfall. Expected to hit in an hour.
Instead of a warm core, it now has an artic cold core! This thing is totally wicked awful.
FoxNews is giving the description of how it is changing and how it hasn't been bad....it's going to get a whole lot worse and WILL coincide with the high tide.
This is really awful...
Prayers continuing for all of you up there.
We had a weird sky while ago.....bright fushia glowing through the clouds. Thought at first when I saw it out my office window, that something was on fire and glowing into the clouds....
