Drale gets Nabbed
« on: October 24, 2012, 10:57:51 AM »
  Look at this breathless post!   The jabbering run-on sentence, the adolescent gossipy air, the victimhood.  He's such a DUmmie, Drale is.

I got pulled over yesterday by an Indiana State Troop on I-80
I was doing 65 (I know for it a fact thats how fast I was going) but he claimed I was doing 76. He pulled me over at 5:05 and the ticket says 5:15 but he did not let me go until 5:45. He asked me 3 or 4 times if I ever lived in New York (I've lived in Illinois my entire life) and were I was coming from and he also asked me for my social security number, which I gave him. He was pretty rude and I felt like he was trying his hardest to find some reason to arrest me. He then almost threw the ticket at me and said just drive the speed limit and walked away. He didn't tell me how much the ticket was for or say have a nice day or anything like that. He then followed me for about 6 miles and got off at the same exit I did and only stop following me when I turned down my girlfriends street. I feel like I was harassed and wanted to know what everyone else thought. Both by girlfriend and her mom were in the car and both agree I was not doing 76 and that there were people around me passing me. I feel like the whole reason he pulled me over is because I drive a Red Kia Optima and had out of state plates. I'm not going to fight the ticket because it could end up costing me more and I really don't have the time but I think I am going to file a complaint against the officer, even though I doubt it will go anywhere. I've always been a live and let live kind of guy with the police but this has really shaken my faith in whether or not, at least when it comes to Indiana State Troopers, they want to protect people or are just looking for revenue and ticket numbers.

9. File a complaint.

Not an excuse, but cops also have bad days, get into shitty moods, and take it out on others like the rest of us will unfortunately do from time to time.

Not an excuse. File a complaint. Give him another reason to be in a bad mood.

Well, DUmb****, the trooper could have seen the gold goatee you have, from huffing spray paint. :bitchslap:

It's the NORML and other pro-drug stickers that get cops attention.

ZERO Bongs.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

My red 1985 4 door diesel GMC dually got me a speeding ticket. I had the criuse set on 55 and the cop said I was doing 69 mph. He got me on radar and then followd me for several miles.....you know what, he was dead on. I had it checked and I was doing 69 mph all the time.

I find it interesting that not a single primitive advised him to hire an attorney.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I didn't!   :bawl:
"We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and then bid the geldings to be fruitful."

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.
