Marriage ?????  Civilizations have that to promote the benefit of the children or widow of a marriage.--------The birth right of children to claim their parents inheritance at their death. The protection of woman and daughters in case the bread winner dies.  Keeps the authority from coming in to claim all rights and throw the females , or in some cases the males into the streets homeless and penny less. 

   Marriage was not a man made idea to protect two people of same sex to usurp the rights of their family's, or in case of bisexuals the rights of their own children. 

OK worse case-------Two woman, both with children decide to marry.    One dies, to whom does their #SS go to, their children or to the partner and  their children ????     Darn we have enough problems with this in heterosexual marriages. 

   Pensions of one partner that divorces the other, can the same sex partner claim a portion of it, demand alimony, and half the others estate ???

Seems like the Gays are moving into the world of laws that cause the straights much head ache and grief.

I had a boss that got his balls nailed to the wall.  He convinced a woman to quit college and set up house keeping for him.  After 8 years or so he got tired of her and demanded she leave.   She sued for Pal alimony   and he had to paid for her to continue college and a 6 -7 years of full support.----------Could be it would have been cheaper to have married her.

Other then marriage what do the Gays feel they are not getting that the straights have ??????

I defended a black conservative on twitter from some nutty lefty (I assume she was black). She called him basically an Uncle Tom and white conservatives all hate him too (I assume she was admitting she hated him merely because he was a conservative black man).  I said that I don't hate him and I am a white conservative.

DUmmies, you are all about putting people in boxes. Identity politics at its best. Every female, gay, black, hispanic, etc should ONLY vote democrat. Yet white men can vote dem or republican and not be vilified. Who has the war on who? You do not know what is in anyone's best interest. You don't own anyone. Think of the Scott Brown victory when Ted Kennedy died. How your side said it was HIS seat. No, the seat belonged to THE PEOPLE and the people decided to let Scott Brown reside in it for awhile. Take a long look at yourself. Think how twisted your views have become. How you have to twist yourself into a pretzel to just discuss things on DU.
