Why dont we use the same dirty tactics as the Rethugs?
We've all seen (and debunked) those chain emails people get about Obama. You know, the ones where they say he issued 9 million executive orders or that he was rude to a disabled marine vet, or something like that. I swear there is a conservative factory that just sits around and produces these things all day long. We know people dont fact-check what they see online, they just accept it as truth. I have no idea why because they could just use the internet to find the truth, but they dont.
So here is my question, why dont we use the same underhanded tactics against the conservatives? Why dont we start chain emails that say Romney issued 9 million executive orders as governor or that he was rude to a disabled marine? We spread this stuff in chat rooms or message boards to diminish the likeability of a republican candidate. Send out a mass email to conservatives pretending to be a 'conservative patriot' who is disenchanted with the candidate. Conservatives will read it and think its totally legit because 'its from one of them.'
I know the answer to my question is that liberals are above these tactics and we rely on facts and logic to win, but the problem is that we dont always win. The problem is that Fox News and its fans constantly feed lies to listeners. We can still fight them with logic, but we can also use their ignorant base as a tool against them. Get in their heads and stir up the pot a bit.
All that matters is winning. I dont want to play nice if it means republicans get elected.

Okay DUmmies which is worse some lame chain mail, or a sitting Senate Majority leader starting rumors and spreading lies about the GOP Presidential candidate?
Besides we see plenty of these chain mail type things posted at DU, we call them bouncies.

1. Because liberals aren't stupid enough to swallow
that kind of BS, generally speaking.
You will swallow any lie told against the GOP and cling to that lie even after it has been proven false. Hell you goons practically invented the phrase, "Fake, but accurate". Like with Rathergate and the made up quotes that were spewed about Rush when he was trying to buy that football team.
