Update on "Toots"

Well, we went thru her first chemo treatment Friday. Lovely ****in' stuff! the port they use has to be surgically implanted. Whoopeee, another surgery.

Wasn't too bad this time, but we're told it will get much worse. They did a P.E.T. scan and couldn't see that it has migrated any farther. Which I guess that is good news. I'm still not sure what the hell it is.

She came through like the tough 'ol broad I know she is, so we'll see what happens the farther we go.

Will try to keep y'all updated. I'll pretty much be hit 'n miss for a while.

Well bad news, like we need any more! She's been havin' bloody noses and headaches lately. She's goin' in to have a CT scan and an MRI to make sure it hasn't progressed to her brain.

I'm scared to death! She's been havin' headaches for a long time. I've always figured it was her blood pressure. The Doc says her platelets are low and it could mean................
