My Father's vote was just stolen in Ohio...
My father had a stroke a few years ago, and he has trouble reading. He votes absentee, so my mother can help him with the ballot. Well, he sent in his ballot a couple weeks ago, and he did EVERYTHING as instructed. Everything was signed, documented, etc. Proper postage and everything.

Yesterday, he got a letter from the Butler County board of elections saying something was not up to snuff with his ballot, and he had to provide one of the following blah blah blah. One of the choices is his drivers license number, which he already included on the absentee ballot. It says he has to deliver it by hand to their office and his deadline is November 16th.

So basically they're only gonna count it as a provisional ballot. What really happened is they opened his ballot, and saw that he voted for Obama, and now they're not going to count it. I don't know who to contact. I'm so pissed I can't see straight.

Not that I am any kind of expert, but the ballot itself is not opened until election day.  They are the first ballots placed in the machine in most places.

My 2000 absentee ballot in FL was thrown out. According to the letter I got from the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections, my signature changed from the time I registered in 1993. It was for George Bush.

Translation. My father is dead, and I tried voting in his name. Silly me. They must have purged the polls.

****ing primadonna.  If they really wanted to not count your dad's ballot, they would have- I don't know- NOT ****ING COUNTED IT.  Toss it in the shredder and you'd have been none the wiser.  We don't call you DUmmies for nothing.

I had that happen to me at my bank.  I was at the drive-up and they sent my old signature card through.  I looked at it and yes, my signature had very noticeably changed.  I think the card was 8 years old.

I gotta say this about all that.

In November 2000, in Nebraska, I cast my one single sole lone vote for George Bush.

About the same time, there was a student at Marquette University in Wisconsin who spent the day going around voting for Alphonse Capote Gore.  According to news reports, he successfully voted eight times.

According to follow-up news reports, the eight-times Democrat voter never got penalized for a damned thing.

This bullshit has got to stop--and it's happening only on one side, not this side.

Paper ballots, voter identification, no early voting, no absentee voting excepting under the most dire of circumstances, everybody all vote during the same 12- or 18- or 24-hour time frame all across America, no release of state totals until all precincts are in.

This should cut down considerably on Democrat election fraud in the big blue cities and the blue states, damn it.

If Iraq and Afghanistan could figure out a foolproof way of marking those who've voted, why can't we?

This is just more proof that they know deep down inside that they are going to lose. So they start spinning these bouncies about how the repukes are stealing the election.

Odds are nothing in the DUmmy's story is even close to the truth. Probably what happened was there was something not right with the ballot and they sent it back so it could be corrected. Like someone else said here, if someone didn't want him to vote the ballot would have been put in the trash and no one would ever know.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

If they counted all of his votes that means that your vote and the votes of six other Bush voters were technically stolen as a result of being cancelled out by fraudulent votes.
