No more DUmmies for me for awhile

Through the years we've had many nicknames for the members of DU: DUmmies, primitives, DUmbasses, DUmpmonkeys, perverts, etc.  All of the names fit the DUers well; however, in my posts I'm going to begin referring to them individually as 'the member of the Democrat Party that posts at DemocratUnderground.com'. I'll probably be doing this until the election is over.

I realize that the name is kind of long, but I've got time to type the extra letters. I've decided to do this because this is a very important election that's coming up. For all we know there is an undecided voter who is searching on the internet trying to make up his or her mind about a candidate. If he happens upon Conservative Cave in his search for information I want him to be fully aware that the stars of our comedy show, the DUers, are not part of some idiotic fringe outside political party called DU. I want him or her to know without a doubt that DUers are true blue 100% Democrat Party members who claim to reflect the ideals of the Democrat Party.

I'm not posting this in an attempt to get others to do likewise. I'm just posting it so you guys know my thoughts and why I'm doing it.

Well, good point, I hope you plan to do it places other than just here though.  The more exposure DU gets to the uninitiated, the more damage the crazy people at that site will do to the Democrat brand.

Here here, I hardily concur.  The DUmp is the premiere website for active Democrats who my also seek to call themselves liberals or progressives.  But they all march under the banner of the Democrat Party.   Mom always said "You are known by the company you keep."  They also have a real fondness for socialism although they are often confused about what it actually is. These Social Democrats like to hide under the banner of progressivism or so called  European Social Democrats but they are Democrats.  The big tent they claim to host is really a "Big Top" or circus full of swoard swallowers, clowns and pawns.

I use "democrat party members in good standing" for donks in other forums as it gives them that true inner communist good time feeling. I mean come on, the democrat party is now just slightly to the left of the good old CCCP of old.
