The gypsy life. Living out of an Airstream trailer, setting up tents and selling furniture in vacant parking lots years ago. All of it from the Furniture Capital of the World, High Point, NC!  WOOT!  Butter wouldn't melt in my mouth once I got the spiel down!  If you're buying -- I'm selling!  :-)

Just don't ask me to sell door-to-door.  That was the breaking point.  I rode the Greyhound back from Delaware and gave it up.

Interestingly enough I never got the pleasure of working in (or even passing through) the great state of Nebraska.  I have been across the river and thought about making the jaunt across the water but ..... I was in a hurry to get to my folks house in Missouri.

I still have some time left in me and a bike I LOVE to ride.  I'm sure I'll see the rest of the states!   :-)

*My rule of thumb was to count the States I lived in, worked in, vacationed in or visited family/friends in. Not counting the States I just drove through or spent one night in a Holiday Inn at, LOL.


Using those rules, all states east of the Mississippi except Wisconsin(never sat foot in it) and several west of the Mississippi. Trying to sort out the ones westward is the hard part, I did a lot of joy riding in trucks when I was younger.

Ah hell, I been in 56 of the 57 states..............if Obama can claim it, I can to.... :-)
