White House defends Biden's debate demeanor
« on: October 12, 2012, 03:25:09 PM »

Are you kidding me?

Quote
If Vice President Joseph R. Biden smiled too much during his debate Thursday night, the White House said the blame lies with Republican Rep. Paul Ryan and his position on the Obama administration's 2009 stimulus plan.

Many viewers said Mr. Biden appeared condescending or arrogant by smiling and laughing while Mr. Ryan, the vice presidential nominee from Wisconsin, was speaking during their debate in Danville, Ky. But White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday the vice president likely couldn't help himself.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Spin. Spin. Spin.
Lies like this would have worked in the 1980's and the 1990's. But the tea party woke up America.
I work in a very liberal office. All the gals thought Biden was creepy. A number of them turned the TV off after a few minutes.

The same old Clinton Spin isn't worth much anymore.

Here's a lesson in lie detection:

People do not laugh in this context because of the absurdity of their opponent's position; they laugh as a defense mechanism. They must ridicule the opponent to distract people from the fact that they don't have a leg to stand on.

That is why Obama so often before replying to the once in a blue moon tough question from the press. (Usually it's Jake Tapper or a Fox reporter)

You gotta hand it to the Dems. They're really good at not taking the blame for things.

so by the fact that the WH feels they need to blame biden's demeanor on anything, they are admitting that he screwed the pooch during the debate.  Take that all you DUmmies who think biden cleaned Ryan's clock last Thursday.
Biden is an illegitimate President.  Change my mind.

I don't think they would have even worked then, because the civility aspect would have sealed the fate of someone that boorish.

I'm hearing a lot of that, mostly from women. I tried listening to the debate over the radio and I couldn't stand Biden's rudeness, butting in etc.  I didn't even see the smirk and laughs.

It was the first "debate" we watched, and certainly the first for my wife. She thought Bobobiden was a disgrace; my feelings are somewhat more despicable than that.
