Brit Hume seemed absolutely incensed at Biden's callous, rude behavior.

Mugging for the camera, laughing, gesturing, snarking, all of that. Ryan's appearance at times reminded me of a somewhat patient father dealing with a snotty 8-year old.

That's an excellent way of describing it. Just once I'd really like to have a completely neutral moderator. Almost had one last time but it was just because he stayed out of it for the most part. I did notice, however, that both Biden and 0bama complained about not being able to talk when both of them had slightly more time and less hostility from the moderator. Hell, there were a few times I thought Martha was gonna mistake Joe for BillyJeff and drop to her knees.

I tried it listen to it over the internet, but Biden was so rude and nasty, I kept taking my headphones off.

At times it was a two against one contest. Martha was in the tank for Biden.  The interruptions were over the top.  I heard too, that Biden got 11 more minutes to talk than Ryan did.

Hey this allowed me to separate some wheat from the chaff tonight on Facebook. I decided it was time to drop some acquaintances who mutually have no intention of having an actual friendship coupled with their sychofantix ass kissing of this administration(I'm not a liberal watcher like some here to even justify keeping them for observation alone lol) Itime to just cut the ropes and let a few things go. Ahh that felt good:)

Good work tonight.

Are you willing to do this next week again, hosting the official live thread for the second presidential debate?

I'm now sitting here watching one of my favorite movies - "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" - eerily similar to the debate we just witnessed.

Guess which one has written a letter to daddy?   :-)

You know, I rarely go on facebook anymore. I kinda feel guilty when my sister says, "did you see what I posted on facebook?" But it just doesn't hold my interest the way it used to...too busy. CC, Twitter & Pinterest are pretty much my online hangouts. Breitbart for news I guess. but I don't participate. And Twitchy to see what the idiots are posting in 155 words or less.

Oh, I just LOVE that movie...Bette Davis is fabulous but Joan Crawford, man! The only movie she was better in was Mildred Pierce.

It just occurred to me that I think Biden won, but I was listening to the debate on Sirius. I bet the visuals make the difference.

That is what Krawhammer said. Watching it on TV is another story. Biden stopped the bleeding but he did himself no good with the smirks, laughs and facial antics. The late night talk shows will have a field day with this, and the GOP ads will portray Biden as a jerk. So, in the long run, advantage Ryan but I was tuned in to Thursday night football about half the time the debates were going on.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I never got into twitter and still don't get it. I also use Facebook to keep family and clise friends updated with regular pics of my bunch  since
Most f mine live in other states. I have some local acquaintances on there who besides being a caricature of your usual view watcher couldn't stop with the fawning or the usual incessant whiny female behavior... that's the type I let go. My long time friends from back  in the day who are annoyingly liberal are of course still with me.  They are and have been friends despite their politics. I just decided not to suffer foolish barely acquaintances anymore. Just no reason.

I think the debate was awful, Biden came across as an ass, he lied about Benghazi, his votes on Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Moderator didn't challenge him.

And listening to Steve Haynes now, he's saying that all people are talking about is Biden's demeanor and that's not good, also saying that he charged up his base.

Yeah OK he charged up a bunch of people who'll refuse to acknowledge that Biden lied BUT they don't need the base, the base will vote for them no matter what, they needed the Independents and Biden lost them. I just showed my non-political Husband the GOP Ad of Biden laughing, he said Biden looks like an idiot.
