I had a small breakthrough with a severe wing-nut!

I tried to save the conversation unfortunately my computer works sometimes.

Anyway, I posted the article about Mitt Romney being bummed out about the jobs number being low.

And my wing nut friends went off about how the numbers were doctored. I mentioned how Chris Matthews had ripped to shreads Jack Welsh the one who started that ignorant rumour, and I posted the Video, thanks to DU I always have instant information to back up just about anything I say.

At that point one my Wing-nut friends, private messages me and says, "hey I hope our political views don't end our friendship". I gave him the standard speech, if we didn't have choices we would be dictatorship, and if you don't vote you can't complain.

So while we were still actively arguing on my FB Timeline. We were having a civil conversation on FB message crazy right LOL

In the civil conversation I kept reinerating why Mitt Romney would be bad for this country, the thing I said that got through was this.

"You know what upsets me most, and I find very distrubing, is that Mitt Romney would be upset, that unemployment rate has gone down. His first thought wasn't this is great news for the country, his first thought was, crap this will hurt me Politcally. I have friends who have almost gone homeless hoping wishing praying and fighting daily to get a job any job. And Mitt Romney is only thinking about how much it sucks for him that people are getting back to work. Seriously how does that make you feel about Mitt?"

BACKSTORY My friend is currently unemployed and just got approved for militray diablity, yes he is the 47%

OK he rights back and I am sorry this isn't adirect quote, but he admits THIS does bother him. He admits that there are a lot of things about Mitt that he doesn't agree with "alot" he did repeat alot.
Then he quickly switch to talking about Gov Richardson and how bad a Gov he was for his state.

but the point is, I get into alot of FB discussion with WingNuts, why because they love trying to defend Mitt on my Timeline. But this was the first time I got one of them to admit something Mitt did brothered them. Maybe there are others who will admit that Mitts desire for the country to fail so he can win the White House, can reach others. I may not have changed his vote but I know I got him thinking. Something they rarely do.

Try again Heather this has nothing to do with hurting Mitt, it has to do with our government lying their asses off. The fact that you think 7.8% unemployment is good news just blows me away. When it was 7.8% in 2009 that was depression level unemployment numbers now it's record low unemployment according to you goons. We spent 4 years and 6 trillion dollars to get back to where we were when we started and we are supposed to throw down our prayer rugs, face the golf course where 0bama is at and praise him?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

The Romney camp isn't upset the number is low.
They're a bit upset that the number is cooked, and artificially low.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
