Whatever happened to...?

People who could sing like THIS? People with actual talent, and pipes? I'm so sick of the electronically enhanced BS. Adele is one of the VERY few top billboard artists that I absolutely adore for the reason that she can actually sing.

Years ago she was a myspace friend of mine. This was a long time ago before she became famous in the United States.

She was always responding to questions and compliments. She has an amazing voice, and I am glad she made it in the music business.

If I had a tenth of the singing ability that Adele has, I could die a very, very happy man.  Singing with someone with her level of talent is on my bucket list.  It will probably go undone. :bawl:

Great voice. Classy, smoky, sexy, different. Like the old female crooners and jazz singers.

Best Bond theme in a while, too. Because of her voice.

Can I do a little bragging here? I don't know how to embed youtube, so here's a link to my 13 year old niece singing Adele at a talent show. Acoustics aren't great; but she's awesome.

Adele is one of them rare breeds. She sings well and actually writes her own songs. :II:

I'd rather listen to something I like and thank god as an individual I'm allowed to enjoy what is palatable to me. Adele isn't. I despise that really popular 4 non blondes song too.

And your assumption is way off btw...

Very glad to hear that. I have a very wide range of tunes I like. It depends on the instrumentals, the voice of the singer, and the lyrics of the song. Whether or not they relate to me, I think they're badass, or what have you. The emotion of a song also determines whether I like it or not.

Adele just does it for me with most of her songs.

I'm with you on emotion of the song. I didn't disparage Adele precisely because of what you said above. She doesn't do it for me but I recognize that's a personal preference. I see nothing wrong in her personally or as a singer. Just not my cup of tea. And hey she's a fellow Brit after all:)

You want to talk about talentless, cluless chicks, I've got you by the balls on this one. Search up "Call Me Maybe" on youtube. Dear GOD, it's like nails on a chalkboard. I feel like smacking someone in the mouth everytime I hear it.

Same with most LMFAO songs. The one that really gets me is "Sexy and I know it" though. URRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!
