Her husband EARNED that retirement pay as did she EARN part of it from staying by his side and while he was away taking on HIS responsibility's for the family.

She had to do her job and his job for months on end, not knowing if he on a Sub was dead or alive. Do not get me started on Military wives that stay the course for 20+ years only to be dumped when their husband retires. Say ever hear of McCain the POW that ran for President and how his wife ended up ??????
Fight Club anyone ?????
Step away from the keyboard and take a deep breath. Now exhale. Do it again.
Did NOT say hubby didn't earn his retirement pay. I know that I earned mine. If you will review, you will see "Thanks be to . . .retirement pay."
I am even aware of the first Mrs McCain's story. Accident while John was POW. Disfigured. Didn't allow accident info to get to McCain because she felt he had enough on his plate.
I am likewise aware of what military wives do and put up with. I went to basic trainning in 1960, got married in 1968, retired in 1988, still married to the same wife (approaching 45 years). She practically raised our daughters mostly by herself.
Now, ease up.
