Al Gore:
"Obama arrived in Denver at 2pm today. Just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know..."

The polls are clear, Romney won the first presidential debate, he looks like a stronger leader, and he'd be the best to handle the economy. But according to Al Gore, it was the altitude in Denver that made Obama look bad .

I find that argument laughable because Obama was in Las Vegas preparing for the debate in luxury.

Was Gov. Romney breathing the same air?

Don't we need a president to can be clear-headed and quick-thinking everywhere in the country?

What if nuclear war had broken out in the Middle east while Obamo was giddy and dizzy trying to adapt to the high altitude last night?

Funny thing is:  wasn't Denver where Barry held his convention in '08?  How is it the SCOAMF in Chief did so well then, and humped his own leg last night?

Good point.  Most Republican presidents retire from politics and keep out of the spotlight.

Dems have to try and keep themselves relevant. Though in most cases, it doesn't work.

It's funny because someone joked about this in a thread last night saying the altitude would be to blame.

Following Obama’s terrible debate showing Wednesday evening in Denver, several liberal pundits have attempted to offer their explanation as to why Romney performed so much better than the President. Excuses have ranged from “Romney lied” to “This is what happens when you ask John Kerry to be your debate coach..........”

Not the first thread topic with multiple postings. Ain't nuthin but a thing. Besides I hear it's awful pompus of a poster to correct another.  :naughty:
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.
