During the incident, Samantha Pawlucy said the teacher told her that Carroll High is a “Democratic school” and wearing a Republican shirt is akin to the teacher, who is black, wearing a KKK shirt.

If it is a "democrat school" then promoting the democrat organization, the Ku Klux Klan, should be appropriate for any teacher, black or white.  How is a Romney/Ryan shirt "akin"?

No doubt. The KKK was established by the Democratic party after the Civil War.

That teacher needs to be fired.  If I were her parents I would be at the very next Board meeting with a petition.

They were also conservatives opposing the federal mandates of the radical(ly liberal) republicans, but we usually just sweep that part under the rug

There would be parent/principle/teacher meeting with me. It would start with "sit down and STFU public employee".

Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

I agree however in this case I would be willing to shell out $150.00 to bring along a lawyer, a tape recorder and a video cam.

So the family has to eat hot dogs and beans, rice and beans, bread and ketchup sandwitches for a week, to pay the lawyer, big deal, some sacrifices must be made to protect our children's rights.    Good lesson for the kids, freedom comes at a price one must pay to remain free.

No rug needed.  Those rascally conservative democrats didn't need rugs.  They had ropes and trees to help protect their way of life.  Democrats haven't changed much since then.  Their tactics are different, though, but the outcome is basically the same.

That teacher needs to be taken to the proverbial woodshed.

The student should have said, "Oh you want me to put on a shirt of someone who reminds you of the KKK? Fair enough."

Then run home and put on her old "Robert Byrd for Senator" shirt.

Yes, it's Philadelphia (filth-adelphia to most of us) where all the dead vote and many from surrounding counties and New Jersey also vote.

The state and federal law enforcnment authorities are constantly investigating their criminal behavior but very little happens.

BS for defending an organization founded specifically to espouse racism.

Are you trying to say that because they were resisting "federal mandates", as you put it, that they went about it the right way? Was their cause righteous and good? Do the ends justify the means to you?

I never said what they stand for or what they did was right, only pointing out that we always blame them the KKK on democrats but we forget they shame the conservative name as well.

I'm a little surprised it happened in the Port Richmond section though.  It's predominately Polish Catholic . . . why would someone's view on donning a Romney/Ryan shirt because of her agreement with their Pro Life stance be seen as a problem? Damn union teachers . . .
