I've always maintained that the majority of "independents" are democrats ashamed to admit it.

Independents sort of sway with the wind. They point their compass towards whatever pole has the strongest magnet. We used to call them Reagan democrats. They naturally gravitate towards whoever has the strongest backbone. It will continue to be Romney because 0bama has no core. People invented one for him last time but they can't substitute their illusions for substance this time.

I think the biggest October surprise of this election is 0bama's incompetence being on display before the American people all at once. His entire foreign policy philosophy is failing spectacularly and very publicly. The media can't spin fast enough to keep up with it. The dismal and flailing economy refuses to cooperate with his or the media's (but I repeat myself) narrative.

The wheels are coming off the 0bama bus. The only thing that would make this election any sweeter would be to see Stephanie Cutter impaled on her own ever growing nose.

As I put into another thread, WGY in Albany played a clip of Chrissy Matthews after the debate, where (s)he had an on-air meltdown.  Both hosts loved it.  One of them is the daughter of a guy who ran for the New York State Assembly as a Dem, a few years ago, and she loved it.

Ah, the downfall of the left, and I've noticed it since I first started discussing politics on the internet many years ago.  Their mindless little thought process just can't help but believe that if they get "The Last Word" it means they won.  Until they can overcome that childish viewpoint, they'll always be in need of others to take care of them.

Also the Chrissy Matthews meltdown was hilarious.  His harping on PMSNBC and how they are the ones putting forth the issues and tackling them was just too fuuny.  Hate to be the one to inform you Chrissy, but PMSNBC is where real Americans tune in from time to time to see what the haters of America, like you and the rest of your traitor panel, have to say.  Other than that, you're a bunch of nobodies.
