We are allready pumping out about 100 cards a year (result of a 30 year military carrear).  I haven't checked O'bumma's website lately to see if they are selling Christmas cards.  Most of our friends/relatives would shit a brick if we sent them one.

Or, alternately, they'd throw a brick through your front window if you sent them an Ocard. :bolt:  O-)

I love mailing out cards. Getting one in return is just a bonus.

I just like to know that people are thinking about them. I think that is very important.

But, what do I know?

I love doing that too!!
I think people don't send out cards, because of postage prices, the cards themselves, and the time it takes.....

I've been the recipient of a lot of care and concern from the 'Cavers here at crucial times in my life.  I would be deeply honored to be able to drop a Christmas card in the mail, should we choose to set it up (either through the PMs here or @ the Facebook group).

Mrs. E and I send out about 60 cards per year and we get about that many back.

One thing that we don't see eye-to-eye on. I write a letter, include a few pics, make it funny, print it out and include it within the card. Sometimes I'll write a short handwritten note inside the card, but the letter has all the latest news on it.

She hates that and calls it gauche, preferring to hand-write all of those she sends out. So, only my friends and my side of the family get the letter and her peeps get a couple of sentences scribbled in an indecipherable handwriting that is hers.  :whatever:

Don't be so extreme, converting to Jehovah's Witness would get you out of the Christmas Card thing.

I think they can eat bacon too, so maybe that's what I should convert to.  :-)
