I get Bush because his father was president, but I don't even remember, during the 2000 and 2004 campaigns, many people going after him. He was old news. Yeah, Hillary had that line that it would take a Clinton to clean up a Bush's mess ... but that's insignificant compared to the attacks we've seen from the right on Ann and Barack Senior. They've been vile and hateful and awful. I don't think anyone would ever dare attack Romney's parents in that way ... and I certainly don't remember Clinton's mom coming under attack like this.

It's just so dirty and amazingly horrible. There are some attacks that go beyond the pale and I think this is one. I've never heard a First Mom (even if she's not around to defend herself) called a whore before or a prostitute or a porn star.

The level these people would stoop to makes me ashamed to be American.

The OP by Paddy O'DUfus was hardly worth bringing over, but a reply from Journeyman laying out the evil life of Joe Kennedy for all the DUmmies to choke on is awesome.  Well done, Journeyman.  My hat's off to you.

The DUmmies tried to destroy not only President Bush's parents, but also his wife and his CHILDREN...but they go into a outrage hissy fit if anyone brought up the mere name of a (D) family member.

Yeah that.  As far as being 'Unprecedented,' the MSM mention of a woman who was to all appearances a well-heeled and highly-traveled slut of note is so minimal that I doubt if one in twenty people could tell you if she was even alive or dead.

The only thing that I recall seeing about his parents that could be considered as an attack was by a guy that is supposed to be a preacher. He apparently did this in defense of attacks on Sarah Palin's daughter. Maybe he is racist?
