Didn't watch the first part , Won't watch the second.

No movie can really do appropriate justice to the novel.

There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Im sad they switched the cast for the 2nd part, I thought they did a pretty good job on the 1st one

I wish someone would publish an abridged copy without some of the unnecessary sex scenes.  Not because of any prudishness on my part, but it makes an already long book even longer.  I found myself skimming over large parts of the book to get back to the basic storyline while trying to avoid as many tangents as possible.
