Not a totally surprising list.  I did expect Detroit, but it does seem to be returning to it's pre-industrial state in many places.  Like a post industrial version of some lost jungle civilization.  I'm fascinated.

I'm not surprised the New Orleans is on there also. But Cleveland and Detroit should be.

As for Atlanta. The old section (Where the stadium and CNN are) is kinda rough, but the new section is quite nice.

I think the dirtiest city I have been to was Jersey City. It looked like they took all the trash from New York City and just dumped it there.

There may be a simple reason why Detroit isn't on the list.  From reading the article, it looks like it is based on opinions of tourists to the cities.  Does anyone go on vacation to Detroit?
