Rupert Everett sparks outrage with gay parenting comments

British actor Rupert Everett has come under fire after declaring he "can't think of anything worse" than a gay couple raising a child.

The openly gay star has been criticized by equality campaigners after insisting that "children need a father and a mother."

In an interview with Britain's Sunday Times Magazine, Everett revealed how his mother, Sara McLean Everett, had met his boyfriend but "still wishes I had a wife and kids."

He added, "She thinks children need a father and a mother and I agree with her. I can't think of anything worse than being brought up by two gay dads. Some people might not agree with that. Fine! That's just my opinion. I'm not speaking on behalf of the gay community. In fact, I don't feel like I'm part of any 'community.' The only community I belong to is humanity and we've got too many children on the planet, so it's good not to have more."

Interesting that he doesn't suck up to them on this.

Who?

British pop culture is so weird.  It changes ever 15 minutes.

Interesting that he said there are too many kids in the world. Pushing abortion, or due to "climate change"?

Not sure ,many parents due to death or what not raise kids in a single parent home and do so very well.

Only experience I have with gay couples raising a child was a long time ago and it was a stomach churning experience that I had for my own mental health run from.

Two lesbians, one with a 6-7 year old boy and this child was a mess, they were raising him as a girl.  His underware was not skivies but panties and one day babysitting him we went to a department store and the boy wanted to look at bras, not for him but for me.    SAY WHAT ?
On to the nightgown department and he refused to go into the boys area, he wanted a proper girls nightgown. I knew I  had to leave my job as I was in  no condition to except the life style of this poor child, his bedroom was set up as a girls room, not one boy toy.

Final straw was when I tried to teach the boy to pee standing up, totally outside his knowledge he had all ways peed sitting down.
I was fired for that act and all so happy and sad at at the same time.    Were the woman monsters, no they were just living in another world from what most of us do.

Yeah, Yeah, I know looking back just how naive I and most people were about gay life.      Wasn't until the 1980's and HIV hit that we of the populace began to have any idea of gay life.    Who knew about the Gay baths in large city's, who had any idea that that that yeast infection came from a husband who spent time checking out the runaways at the bus station.

Now I knew when I took the summer job the mothers were a bit odd and gay, but I had no idea just how odd they were. But were the weird to their lifestyle.   Perhaps in their lifestyle the mothers were normal for their male children.  All things are normal for kids
they are raised in some way even if they are mistreated or forced to live in a cellar, that is normal for them.

So two gay couples raising a child, what are the chances they will raise the child different from them, is it not human expectations that our children adopted or not to to became an adult much as we are ?

All this bull shit of the gays adopting children is a smoke screen.    The adopted kids will follow the family that is is gay, it is all they have ever known.
