Anyone watching The Blaze TV?
« on: September 14, 2012, 02:56:42 PM »
I've been watching GBTV since moving back home, my Dad is a big fan. I've already decided that ROKU is the way I'll go when I'm in my new place (rather than cable or satellite) and wondered if there are any Beck fans here?

I like beck. He just started broadcasting the Blaze tv on Dish Network. Soon to be having a deal with Directv ..

The first two weeks with Dish Networlk are free, after that it is 5.00 a month, via ale carte (sp?). It will probably be the same for Directv.

Channel 212.

I won't mind paying the $5.00 a la carte for it.

Better than paying whatever it is a month on Roku.

I have no idea what my dad pays for his membership, I believe it's around $5 a month.  I will be more than happy to pay that for his new network.  Once you buy the Roku you pay subscriptions for some channels and others are free.  I think this move is very exciting, no limits on Becks programming.  He wasn't kidding when he said before leaving FOX..."the left will WISH for the day when I was on TV for an hour"  :rotf:

Glad to hear Direct will offer it soon.

No, but I have heard alot about it.  Is it worth the subscription price?  And do you use it on your iPhone?

I would check out the ROKU site to judge for yourself, for me there is no question that it is worth the price.  I don't watch much TV and refuse to pay huge cable prices for the little I do watch.  ROKU's line up suits me just fine.
