CNN poll: Obama 52, Romney 46
« on: September 11, 2012, 11:58:52 AM »
Now, you would think a poll like that would generate a ton of happy responses, this thread has only 7 responses, could it be because the CNN poll is so heavily skewed toward the Democrats? Here's what CNN did, the breakdown of the poll of those surveyed is 50% Democrats 45% Republican and only 5% Independents On other polls Romney is leading amongst Independents by 14 points.

:bird: to the biased media!

Breakdown of the poll:

3. Hard to believe it's accurate, but then again...

What I wonder is how on earth he even has support from 46% of the population. It's the Republicans in Congress that are to blame for their Filibusters from 2009-2010 and total obstructionism from 2011-2012.

The President of the United States is not a king or dictator, he does not have the power to pass laws or fix problems without Congressional approval, thus the blame at everything that's wrong with the country lies with the Congress, Republican controlled for the last two years, filibustered for the two years before that.

4. LATEST POLL!

Martinez Report:

According to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, Obama is up 50-44 among registered voters, signifying an approximately 7 point bounce. However, for likely voters, he barely leads Mr. Romney, 49 percent to 48 percent, signifying a 3 point bounce.

6. ABC poll

Democrat 33

Republican 23

Independent 37

Do these sample sizes make sense?

Of course it doesn't.

Mitt Romney would lead eight in unskewed data from newest CNN/ORC poll

The latest CNN/ORC poll released today shows a wider lead for President Obama than the previous CNN/ORC poll but it is doubly skewed. It massively under-samples independents while it also over-samples Democratic voters. The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll official reports Obama at 52 to percent and Mitt Romney at 46 percent. Unskewed, the data reveals a 53 percent to 45 percent lead for Romney.

This new CNN/ORC survey, unlike many other analyzed, not only over-samples Democratic voters, but also massively under-samples independent voters, to produce a result more favorable to Barack Obama. This survey's sample includes 397 registered Republicans and 441 registered Democrats. But the survey included a total of 822 registered voters, leaving only 37 independent voters at most. The survey clearly under-sampled independent and Republican voters.

Since it only has 7 responses I guess the others realize they're being duped.

August's report on Obama:

96,000 jobs created.
370,000 people gave up looking for a job.
5,000 small businesses closed.
176,000 new food stamp moochers.
85,000 new SSDI approvals.

I don't believe that America will vote for more of this. If we do it's stick a fork in us as the entire USA will be Kalifornia or Illinois.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I wouldn't believe a dame thing CNN says. After that crap with the nerve gas use in Vietnam lie they trotted out years ago , if they said the sun was up and the time of day, I would check at least ten times before I'd believe them.

How in the hell is Romney behind in the polls? We could run a toaster and it should be beating the Idiot-n-Chief
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

He's not, the media are purposely over-sampling Democrats to get the numbers they want, and to discourage Republicans.

Is Rasmussen also lying to us?  Lets face it our fate was sealed when a Massachusetts liberal was nominated by the Republicans.
Milquetoast is the best description I have heard about the Romney campaign. He even went so far as to start backing away from fully repealing Obama care while again praising Romney care here in Massachusetts.

However,  all those lefties who believed the polls were true, will start thinking that Romney stole the election and there will be riots.   Of course, the media would like that too.
