Oh my.

In case one doesn't know, a derby hat is also known as a billycock.

I dunno why, but it is.

You think I'm kidding? I have the local branch on speed-dial.

In one case, I was patched over to the national office, where the agent on duty told me that the threatening post I called in about was removed, and they didn't have a screengrab. I asked them, "Would you like a copy of mine?" And they said, "Why, sure!"

So go ahead, teenage punks and malcontents of America. Call our President every name in the book for all the good it'll do you. But if you start threatening to take his life, I'll make sure the Secret Service will be all over you like parrots at a peanut farm.

You're welcome.

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

Good job, my friend.

Yeah, the hate-filled primtives are pretty freaking stupid, aren't they, Anne?

We all know that the primitives are a little sketchy on what constitutes racism, so it's not a stretch to think that they may not be familiar with the meaning of the word "threat", either.  I suspect that once they got off the phone, the agent who took the call had a laugh at the primitive's expense.

Date and time!

So what do you think?

It sure isn't as intuitively easy as the Old DUmp.

After Romney wins the secret service will be busy watching DU.

Why would you be afraid of US attacking/killing him? Look up history. For example, Squaky Fromme. She tried to assassinate a President. She's um....not a Conservative/Republican.

8. I had to call the Secret Service once back in the mid-'90s...

Not for a threat to the President, but because a sales clerk and customer at the sub shop where I was having lunch, not too long after OKC, were talking about how someone should bomb the Seattle Federal Building (where my wife works) like they did in Oklahoma. I made sure to get the clerk's name off her badge, then made the call after returning to work. I understand they decided to send an agent to "have a little talk" with her.

11. While I appreciate you sticking up for our president

I think this is probably mostly a colossal waste of the secret services time and resources. I mean this latest twit Angela whatever was not a credible threat whatsoever yet the SS still had to waste its time tracking her down and speaking with her.

I am not saying we shouldnt keep our eyes open for these things but at least in Angelas case it was a big waste of peoples time that would have been better spent on a credible threat than chasing down some idiot drunkard teenager talking out of her drunk butt,

*GASP!*

Quote
longship (13,649 posts)

22. I dare you to say that to a Secret Service officer.

Unlike you, they take all such threats as serious, as they should. Your drunken teen posting a threat may be a daughter of a cell of well-armed conspiracy kooks who indeed are plotting the same as the drunk teen is posting. It also happens to be against federal law, rightly so.

I hope that drunken teen and her parents get the shit scared out of them by the repercussions of what they've done. After all, this Alyssa was probably parroting her parents' sentiments. I am sure that's what the Secret Service would think as well. They have no other options in these matters.

That's enough justification for a violation of federal law in this thread.

 :lmao: Kooky McDUmbass has spoken!

On that note, I'll leave it for you guys to replay. This is all too much. Haha.

I personally nailed Jesica Alba and Morgan Fairchild in a three way two times. Now I do not have any proof of this other than a sore joint and good memories. I should not have washed those sheets.

A couple of years ago, my wife posted of Facebook "only ** more days!", to which my ultraleftist Obama butt smooching cousin replied, "To what?  Obama's assassination?", and proceeded to post a half page of nonsense (I can't tell you what he wrote, I didn't even bother to read it past the first sentence.)

I replied, "NO, IDIOT!"  It's the number of days UNTIL WE LEAVE FOR THE BRISTOL NASCAR RACE!"

I went on to explain that regardless of what he and his brain dead compadres on the left thought, we on the right DO NOT want anything to happen to Barry.  The main reason being is it would make a martyr of him, and the best thing that can happen to Barry is to be electorally defeated in November 2012 and sent back to Chicago to live the rest of his life in obscurity.

The second reason, PRESIDENT Joe Biden.

Hi5.
Yup. The best protection the President could have!

My take on this is the OP never discovered any threats but is just randomly turning in Facebook conservatives.
Either way, he is a liar.

Now I do remember turning several DUers during the Bush Presidency. I know other CC members have as well.
Real quotes. Real screen caps. Skinner and a number of DUmmies have posted threads about visits from the Secret Service.

I had to nadin this and yes they do have what they refer to as field offices in each state.

Hardly what could be described as a local branch though.
As always there is no doubt the primitive has slipped another lie in that none at the DUmp will check out.

Bet on it!

IT has been my experience in any situation but particularly with leftist idiots that whatever someone accuses me of, they have done or are doing. It's a pretty good view into their behavior. Point one finger at me, three point back at you. Notice how the left is doing a lot of finger pointing.

The primitives are trying to get all the false indignation and back patting stories about the SS in while they still can.

Oh yah sure the Secret Service have time to investigate every post on the internet.  They only get into it when someone calls about a possible problem.

This was fun, 15+ years ago we workers were taken in groups to an office at the plant and told the FBI wanted to talk to all of us.

Some male had called in a bomb threat to the plant.    About 15 of us were seated and two older FBI agents seated in front of us.

First thing they did was to tell us , my group about the bomb threat then before they played the tape told us the caller was a Man.

They played the tape twice and I reconised the voice, not of a man but of a disturbed teen of a mother that had been fired.  All kinds of clues in the year since his mother had been fired the Company had changed it's name.  When the recptionest answered the call, the caller paused and then said ---OH right.  Obvrious he did not know about the name change.

I was the only one to ask a question and that was about his accent, not Southern and I was told the accent was flat, New England.

So these FBI men dismissed us even though a toad could have seen that I was worried.     We were told to report to our supervisors if we had any questions.

So I got my Supervisor aside and told her who I thought the caller may have been.    She faced me and told me she also had the same thoughts but the fired worker was a friend with a disfunctial family.

Far as I have seen the FBI and the SS do little about  under the radar  they handle nuncences calls but have little to no time for threats or angry people.

Now had there been a local Cop there we could have speaken to him off the record, asked him to keep an eye on the boy.
Who knows how the family would have turned out if we had the chance to speak to a local Cop.
