Bonus Quote of the Day

"Ask Osama bin Laden if he's better off than he was four years ago."

-- Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), in advance excerpts of remarks he'll make tonight at the Democratic convention.

Yep that will make people forget all about how tough things are. They will forget about high gas prices, high food prices and higher insurance premiums.

The reality is, 0bama had nothing to do with getting 0sama, if he had gotten his way we would not have any of the information to track 0sama. 0bama is like a blister, he shows up only after the job is done, and he is real pain to have around.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Pretty amazing given that in 2004 Lurch was apoplectic over any image of 9/11 being seen in a President Bush ad.
Then again honor has never been the piece of shits strong suit.

ask some of the families on receiving end of a Hellfire fired from a Predator are now compared to 4 years ago.  When Bush did this it was BAD!!!!!!!!!!  Guess it is OK now.  Get Raytheon going on 3 shifts

Personally I do not think we have enough Predators nor Hellfires to do the job, but that is just me.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

I don't get it.

First of all, considering how he lived, he is considerably better off than he was four years ago, so 0bama rewarded an enemy of our country and we should re-elect him?

But if you take the position that being dead is bad, it still doesn't seem like an argument to reward 0bama with a second term.

I mean, yeah, there's some kind of logical fallacy there that I cannot quite put my finger on.

He managed to make one call that was the right one and he has to milk that sucker for everything he can. Otherwise he might have to keep lying about how great the economy is.

I'm certain that DU was all full of pride and bravado when Uday and Qusay were 86'ed from life, right ? If DU2 wasn't currently in full on DUmpCON I'd post a few reminders for you about how much their extermination mattered to the primitives.

While we're at it, we should ask Osama bin Laden what he thinks about man made climate change and carbon offsets.

Actually if he could have left an answer when he checked out, it would have been a very strong "Yes."  From his point of view, four years ago he was dying by inches from kidney failure and accumulated ills of age and hardship.  Now he has been martyred, and thanks to dying in combat with the Infidels, he is assured of ascension to Paradise (I expect he was wrong about that one myself, but ya never know, and anyway the foregoing is how HE would see it, not how I would see it).

If obama would have had his way, Bin Laden would have been brought to the US, made a citizen, and put on his Cabinet.

I'm guessing it's kinda hot where he's at.

Of course Osama bin Laden is better off today. He's got grapes, dates, rivers of flowing wine, 72 virgins, 15 prepubescent young boys and Helen Thomas just waiting to service him.

John 'F'n' Kerry talking anything about the military or Bin Laden is the biggest oxymoron you can ever find. After what he did during and after Vietnam; he should be be hung and shot every time he even mentions the word military.

Are they still on that stupid "Obambam killed him, meme"?
Good grief, even Denise Kookspinach would have given the "go".
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
