That's one thing I noticed. Every time a problem facing America was discussed last night, the speaker brought out the solution with words to the effect of "We have Barack Obama!". As if he can make everything better, just by whim.

If he could do that, that's even more reason to get rid of him, given the situation we face today. Would you want someone working for you that would hold back on his job performance like that?

Supposedly mentioned once in the 2008 platform and something like 8 times in 2004.  I believe they were just token mentions though.

Seriously...the party that embraces "gay marriage," abortion at any stage of pregnancy and even after birth,  free birth control to help even more people fornicate to their "heart's" desire, the reduction of Israel's land and power, the silencing of Christian speech, the teaching of only evolution and atheistic humanism in public schools, the rewriting of history to remove the work and influence of Christianity and the Bible, the removal of even historical teaching of the Bible in schools and colleges, racial profiling for college admission but not for terrorist screenings (to make sure they don't offend anyone important, like CAIR, the NAACP, Jeremiah Wright, etc.)... especially since their candidate has speeches on YouTube that demonstrate his complete ignorance of Christianity...why would they want God in their platform?
