White Blouse Encourages Rape?

Muslim males all over the world are raping young women in non-Muslim dress. What’s more, they seem to rationalize their assault by saying that the woman’s dress conveyed the impression that she was ‘asking for it’.
My own experience with acceptable dress is on the other end of the spectrum. Growing up in Los Angeles, California, I was exposed to women who wore far less on a warm summer’s day than any Muslim male could dare dream of. These women had the freedom to wear what they pleased, and did so. In other cultures, this apparently isn’t so. Whether a woman should wear a revealing outfit should never be tied to whether she can wear one without fear of rape.

Let’s back up a bit, however, because this issue doesn’t begin with adult women. It belongs with young girls, as I read this afternoon from The Star:

 

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian group condemned the uniform worn by girls at government schools, saying it encouraged rape and pre-marital sex.

“The white blouse is too transparent for girls and it becomes a source of attraction,” National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-president Munirah Bahari said in a statement.

“It becomes a distraction to men, who are drawn to it, whether or not they like looking at it,” she said, calling for a review of uniform policy so that it did not violate Islamic ideals.

Why does this not surprise me.  The Iranian police have been dragging women off the streets for the last couple of years over "inappropriate dress".  Some of them don't come back.

Is this what's next for Malaysia?

Rape is not a possibility.  A woman can run faster with her dress pulled up than a man can with his pants pulled down.  Of course, I have to take into consideration that a lot of muslem men wear something akin to a dress sooooo .......

I wish I could remember where I saw it but there was a video of three Muslim men chasing and harassing two Muslim women in full Muslim dress with only their eyes showing. It was pathetic and disgusting. They kept verbally taunting them and pulling on them. One guy go so frustrated that he started trying to kick them in the behind. They were laughing the entire time and whoever posted the video had put subtitles and they were saying very disgusting things.
