This was the week America was waiting for. The Republican Party officially presented Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan as their presidential and vice-presidential candidates. So how did that go? If what you were looking for was information that you will be able to use to contrast with whatever the Democrats provide you then you will be sadly disappointed.

My guest for the entire show will be Julianna Forlano from the satirical news segment “Absurdity Today”. Absurdity Today! is a satirical news segment that skewers politics and current events without the need to be network appropriate. Host and producer, Julianna Forlano has performed in venues across the US and Canada. She is also a professor of Media Studies at Brooklyn College and is a regular guest on talk radio programs across the nation.

Please call in and talk to both of us. It should be fun. Read some of my blog posts for this week. They will provide context to what we will cover on the show.

Actually, there are probably lots of internet radio shows on the net. All idiots need are a bag of cheetos and a computer mike to be the next Ed Schultz. I can probably find a few every now and then; what I'll try to do are to find the ones with bigger audiences so it's not like we are arguing with a guy who is secretly getting a tingle up his leg in his mom's basement because he's being noticed.

Coffee Party?  I think they had one of those meetings in Portsmouth once.  A town as liberal as P-town North, and IIRC they might have had ONE table with couple of open seats left over.
