JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A robber was shot and killed by a customer inside a Dollar General store in the 1900 block of Dunn Avenue.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was called to the Dollar General Monday night in reference to a robbery.

According to police, two men stormed the store with one customer and two employees inside.  The customer shot and killed one of the robbers. The citizen has a concealed weapons permit.

The other suspect fled the scene in a small SUV. Police describe the man they are looking for suspect as a 6 feet tall man, wearing khaki pants and black gloves.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how it's done. Three cheers for the customer with the CCP........

I grew up in that neighborhood, it has drastically changed since I was a kid there. But did you guys notice anything strange about the description of the suspect they are looking for?

What? no skin color, no hair color, no eye color, and no approximate weight...????

I've never wanted to shoot-up a Dollar General.

But I've been tempted to give a couple of two-bit lieutenants a kick in the pants.

How is the public supposed to call and report seeing the suspect if all they have for a description is 6 feet tall man, wearing khaki pants and black gloves? Was he white, black, asian, indian, latin? If he changed his pants and took off his gloves he just got lost in the crowd....there are a lot of 6 feet tall men in Jacksonville.

I don't know if the cops release it because it's "racist" the majority of the time. Remember - Chi-town is the home of Jesse and Jesse Jr., and Louis Farkifyoucan.

But the released names of "Luis Jose Ramirez" or "Rufus Rastus Johnson" are clues.........   :-)
