Okay, folks, a lesson in primitivity, this time re: the NanceGreggs phenomenon:
I always get help out to the car with the groceries because it gives someone a job and it's one less opportunity to screw up my back.
The NanceGregg phenomenon is that the primitives always shroud their real motive with a cloak of nobility.
It's based upon the long-gone NanceGregg primitive's frequent assertion that she moved to Canada because she hated George Bush (this was years and years ago) and couldn't stand living in the same country as George Bush.....when in fact she moved to Canada because her husband had a job there.
Get the idea?
So here we have a primitive who insists she shops at Safeway "because it gives someone a job," as if the primitive actually goes out of her way to do so.
How much does one want to bet that the primitive shops at Safeway because it's convenient to her, and simply by happy coincidence (for the primitive in telling the tale), that Safeway offers such a service?
