I've been getting some personal messages, both for franksolich here and for franksolich's mole on Skins's island, asking this:
I've been wondering where Beth has gone - I haven't see an EFerrari post in months. Any ideas?
Nope, no idea, even though franksolich has kept close track of poor stupid Beth since her scam that rocked the internet back in the spring of 2005. Not only for amusement, but also for the quite practical reason that she was part of the then-cabal vowing to wreak havoc on my real-life self.
Over the years, however, I stopped keeping
close track of her, because really, she's old and fat now (she was once rather quite attractive, in an Etruscan sort of way) and always drugged up on mood-altering pharmaceuticals, so she's not likely to come out here to the Sandhills and bash franksolich over the head with a baseball bat.
Since she's dissipated so much into comatose insensativity, no longer cognizant of the world around her, no, I don't miss her as much as I would've, if she'd disappeared from Skins's island earlier.
However, as a "product" and a "brand" of that particular product, poor stupid Beth was a good seller, decent and civilized people flocking to the DUmpster curious about her latest lame idiocies.
Not a best-seller, but a good solid steady seller.
So I'm wondering if others miss her, even though I don't, particularly.

By the way, this was the last time poor stupid Beth starred in the DUmpster:

I think I found a stone tool on Sunday walking near a newly turned field.
after which a picture of a rock
It's been worked on three sides of the top. The two longer sides have been flaked to a sharp edge. I can't tell what it might have been, maybe a scraping tool.
after with another picture of the same rock
It fits in your hand nicely although, that third (shorter) side is flat on both surfaces and could have accommodated a handle.
after which a third picture of the same rock
The sharpened edge goes right around the point, although the point is not sharp now.

Appropriate, since they are "the primitives", after all. They'll stare at it, turn it over and over in their hands, pass it around the campfire, bash Tonga in the head with it, finally have a breakthrough in recognizing it could be a tool to perform work with, and promptly toss it into the bushes in fear.
In a few millenia, they might even find a round stone disc with a hole in its center, and ponder what it might be used for.

For some reason I find this to be one of the funniest things I've read on here in a while. Maybe because it is so accurate.
